Tube stations close to Park Lane

 

Park Lane is undoubtedly one of the most favoured parts of London to head to when visiting. Located in the City of Westminster, it is only a stone’s throw away from the upmarket area of Knightsbridge and, of course, Harrods, as well as being directly next to Hyde Park.

Should you be hoping to spend a day wandering through the park, perhaps searching for the many memorial fountains and statues, or with a nice cup of tea overlooking the Serpentine, then one thing you don’t have to worry about is transportation. Hyde Park Corner Underground Station is less than a ten minute walk from the south area of Park Lane and as it is on the Piccadilly Line, has great connections to some of London’s most famous attractions including Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and King’s Cross.

There are also services to Heathrow airport, making it an ideal tube station to stay close to should you have travelled from afar. Hyde Park Corner Underground Station has all the amenities you would need from a tube station to ensure that your travel runs as smoothly as possible.

Should you need to get online with your smartphone to check what time the West End show you have tickets for begins, then that is no problem – simply log onto the station’s WiFi and you can find out in seconds. WiFi isn’t the only form of communication available at Hyde Park Corner Underground Station and should you suddenly find that your mobile phone signal has gone, or even worse still, your battery has finished, then fear not for there are a number of payphones available to use.

There are also cash machines on site which is very useful, especially if you want to check how much you have to spend in Harrods, and should you need some foreign currency, for whatever reason, there are also Euro cash machines available.Should you need any help at all with working out how to use the underground – it happens to the best of us – then the helpful staff at the ticket halls are on hand to offer advice and point you in the right direction.
