Another alternative is to book a luxury holiday, with 2016 promising the trip of a lifetime to somewhere exotic and fascinating. That could mean a stay in a luxury hotel in Scandinavia to see the northern lights, a safari or a stay in one of Europe’s top ski resorts. Whatever you chose, there is no doubt a bit of luxury will make Christmas seem that bit sweeter.
