There always seems to be something going on in London. It’s been a while since I last went to a museum so Clara and I decided to take on the Tate Britain! I had only ever heard of the Tate Modern and was pleasantly surprised by it.
Tate BritainI have been hearing a lot about Alexander McQueen this month. With the exposition at the V&A and also the Working Process exhibition at the Tate Britain, we chose to go to the latter and what a treat it was!
Alexander McQueen is bold, daring and truly something else! Just to give you a sneak peek of what we saw:
Nick Waplington captures Alexander McQueen’s inspiration and the clothes makes you take a moment to let the impression sink in.
I do not want to give too much away in what the exhibition offers but I highly recommend it! It will run until the 17th May so hurry over and don’t miss the opportunity to see it.
After the exhibition, Clara and I were feeling so inspired we took a stroll through the rest of the museum to see the permanent collection.
I would like to share some of my personal favourites:
The Tate holds a collection of art from the early 1500s to the present day as well as international modern and contemporary art. The diversity in art displayed makes it a destination for everyone!
